How This Service Works

This service is entirely run by volunteers.  Because of this, delivery times and dates vary.  We may not be able to get your order to you right away but we will try our hardest to get it to you as quickly as possible.  Depending on our volunteers' availability, we might not be able to deliver your order for a few days.  If you desperately need something, we recommend that you use a service such as Instacart instead.  We also recommend that you place your order as far in advance as possible so that we can get it to you by the time you need it.  Please keep in mind that we try as hard as we can to get your order to you as soon as we can.

To place an order, simply use the order form below.  After your order is placed, we will be in touch with you about when we will be able to deliver it to you.

We regularly go to Wegmans, Target, Walmart, Aldi, or Greenstar.  At this time, we do not shop at other stores.  If you really need something from a store that is not listed above, please get in touch with us and we will see if we can help you.

We ask that you please be able to reimburse us for your grocery order using Venmo, Cash App, or by paying us directly when we deliver your order.  Thank you!

About Us

We are a group of Cornell students and members of the local community who volunteer to shop for and deliver groceries to those who are in quarantine or who simply do not feel comfortable going out in public right now.  This service is free.  We intend to continue serving this community until Ithaca is no longer severely impacted by COVID-19.

We are completely not-for-profit and rely entirely on donations that go towards gas money and a small volunteer compensation to cover on-the-job necessities such as hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes, and masks.  Additionally, we make a majority of our donations available to help out people who are not able to pay for essential groceries right now.  If you are facing financial hardship and would like to make use of these funds, please contact us at cornellgroceryservice@gmail.com

Donating

If you would like to make a donation that will go towards gas money, volunteer compensation, and helping students who are facing financial hardship to pay for groceries, you can Venmo us at ild123 or you can donate to ild8 through Cash App.  If you'd like to make a donation but do not have Venmo or Cash App, please get in touch with us at cornellgroceryservice@gmail.com

Please make a note to tell us if there are any dates and times during the next five days when we should not make our delivery.
